This work developed from my Art classroom. On any given day, I removed whole pieces of dried acrylic (plastic) from student’s palettes. I arranged the pieces in my sketchbook pages. I made marks around the acrylic in soft pencil and paint. I explored this further outside the classroom. Mixing and layering colors and experimenting with color, textures, and scale.
