The 1500 portraits done from Who’s Who in Canada 1977-1978 are a re-presentation of the print publication. A friend found the book in a bookstore in BC and thought it might interest me. She sent it to me in Ontario, and I took it with me when I taught Art in Bratislava, Slovakia from 2013-2016. The material connected to my life as a young woman in southern Ontario in 1977 when women in the USA were challenging the notion that men’s experience was universal.
