In 2003, I completed my Master's Feminism and the Visual Arts at the University of Leeds, England. I received my BFA from Emily Carr University of Art & Design, BC in 2000. My practice critiques painting and its' discourse, while using the materials of painting, photography, video, installation, and mixed media. I have participated in solo and group exhibits at galleries at the University of Leeds and Queen's University, and community places, such as, Vancouver East Cultural Centre (BC) and the Ontario Shores: Centre for Mental Health Science in Whitby (ON). I participated in the Inaugural Triennial juried exhibit at the Peterborough Art Gallery (ON), 2012. Most recently, I exhibited at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa (ON), 2014. Currently, I teach secondary Visual Art at an international school in Markham, Ont., Canada.
